Every session we run is one-on-one time, held just for you — your date, your slot, our full attention. That means when you book in, we turn other people away, block out the studio, and start prepping long before you walk through the door. This policy exists so we can keep doing that generously, for everyone who books with us. It's not personal.. it's just how we protect the time and care that goes into every single session.
Session fees & deposits
Your session fee is what locks in your date and time on our calendar. It covers our planning, your styling and shoot prep, studio time, and the team working behind the scenes to make sure your session runs beautifully — regardless of how the images turn out.
Because of that, session fees are non-refundable. This isn't us being precious about it.. it's the same as any appointment-based business protecting time that can't be resold once it's gone.
Rescheduling
Life happens, we get it. You're entitled to one complimentary reschedule, provided you give us at least 48 hours' notice before your session.
Genuine emergencies — illness, family stuff, the truly unexpected — will always be met with kindness. Talk to us and we'll sort something out. Reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, though, and your session fee is forfeited; you'll need to pay a new one to lock in your next date.
Cancellations
Cancelling your session outright, rather than rescheduling, means your session fee stays with us.
If we ever need to cancel or move your session — sickness, an emergency, anything on our end — you'll be offered a full refund or first pick of a new date. No argument, no hoops to jump through.
No-shows & late arrivals
If you don't show up and haven't been in touch, your session fee is forfeited in full and no future booking is held for you.
Running late? Your session will still finish at its scheduled time. Our sessions run back to back, so a late start means less time in front of the camera, not a later finish.
Galleries, prints & collections
Once your gallery is revealed and your collection or digital order is placed, it's locked in and final. Every image is edited specifically for you and every product is ordered to your exact specifications — which means we can't offer refunds, exchanges, or changes once an order has gone through.
Take your time at your reveal appointment. Once you sign off, that's the one.
Payment plans
Choosing a payment plan doesn't change any of the above — your order is locked in at signing under the same terms as an upfront order, it just means you're paying it off over time.
Payments run on the schedule set out in your signed payment plan agreement, and a $15 late fee applies to any missed or late instalment. Reach out any time if you need a hand staying on track.
Gift vouchers
Foxie Studio gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be put toward any session or collection. They're non-refundable and can't be redeemed for cash — but if the original recipient can't use theirs, it's more than welcome to be gifted on to someone else. Just let us know.
When life gets in the way
Extreme weather, genuine emergencies, global pandemics — we've been there. Sometimes things happen that are bigger than any policy. In those cases, we'll always work with you on a fair outcome, assessed case by case.
This policy exists to protect our time and our studio, not to be rigid when it truly doesn't make sense to be.
