Let's get clear on this

It's not just running off to a registry office in secret (although, honestly, respect). An elopement is any wedding day that's intentionally small — where the focus is entirely on the two of you, not the production around you.

Think: a meaningful location, your closest people (we're talking 10 and under — if you need a seating chart, that's a wedding), and a day that actually feels like you.

No strict rules on venue, dress code, or tradition. Just the vows, the people who matter most, and someone to capture all of it properly.

FAQs

  • Same, honestly. I'm not going to have you stand there looking at each other while I tell you to "look natural." I guide you, prompt you, and we just.. hang out. The magic happens in the in-between.

  • I've heard this from literally everyone who ends up loving their photos. If you're really nervous, add on a Lovers Session beforehand — gets you comfortable with me and the camera before the big day.

  • ASAP. I only take on a limited number of elopements — weekends especially go fast. If you've got a date in mind, don't sit on it.

  • A $750 booking fee locks you in. It needs to be paid within 7 days of deciding you want me — and it's first come, first served, so don't dawdle once you've decided.

  • There's no hard cap — it depends on the day. As a rough guide, expect around 50 images per hour of shooting.

  • Please do. Not for me — for you, and for the kids you'll show them to one day. Albums added at booking come with a little discount. All the details are in the info guide after you enquire.

  • Honestly? If you need more than 4 hours, what you've got is a wedding — and that's not what I do anymore. I'm strictly elopements: intimate, small, intentional. If you're looking for a full wedding photographer, I'm not your gal.. but I'm happy to point you in the direction of some incredible photographers who are.

  • Brisbane — but I travel all across Australia. Let's talk.

  • I love that you're getting married — truly. But I only shoot elopements now, and I want to be upfront about that so you can find the right person for your day. If you've got a big guest list, a full reception, or need coverage beyond 4 hours, reach out anyway and I'll personally recommend a photographer who'll do your day justice.
