When are Foxie Studio's Christmas mini sessions?

Our Christmas mini sessions run over a weekend in November 2026 at our Gaythorne studio. Exact dates, times, and the booking link are announced to our Nice List first, before booking opens to the public.

What does the Christmas mini session look like?

A soft white boucle chair on a clean white wall, with a little forest of Christmas trees with fairy lights behind you. Simple, timeless, and styled for family, kids, or couples photos.

How long is a Christmas mini session, and when do we get our photos?

Sessions run for 20 minutes, plenty of time to capture every combination from the whole family to the kids on their own. Your gallery reveal is either the same day or the following week, well before Christmas.

Is there an age limit, or anything different for babies?

All ages are welcome. Bubs under 12 months need a little more time for feeds, cuddles, and settling, so please don't book online. Send us a message and we'll find the best spot or day for you.

Who can be in the photos?

Up to 5 people per session. If you have a bigger family than that, send us a message and we'll work out what suits. Dogs are welcome too.

Can we book more than one session?

Just one session per family. If you have a bub under 12 months or a bigger crew, message us and we'll sort out what works.

Mums are always the ones taking the photos. The Christmas morning chaos, the sticky faces, the dog in a Santa bandana.. all on your phone, and you're in none of them.

Our Christmas Minis fix that. Short, festive, low fuss sessions where the whole crew gets in the frame. We guide you the whole way, the kids can go rogue (honestly, some of our favourite shots happen exactly then), and you walk out with photos you'll pull out every Christmas from now on.

Twenty fun minutes in the studio, then you choose your favourites at your Gallery Reveal.

Heads up.. once you pick your date and time, you've got 15 minutes to finish your booking before that spot is released to someone else. Grab a cuppa first and have your card handy.

Good questions

Where are the sessions?

At Foxie Studio, 4/394 Samford Road, Gaythorne, Brisbane.

Can we bring the dog?

Yes! Dogs are part of the family. Give them a big walk beforehand and bring water.

There are more than 5 of us. Can we still book?

Absolutely. Just message us before booking rather than grabbing extra slots, and we'll make sure you get the time you need.

Our bub is under 12 months. Is that ok?

Little ones are so welcome. Send us a message first so we can place you in the right spot on the day.

Can we book more than one mini?

Minis are one session per family, so everyone gets a turn.

What if the kids won't cooperate?

No one can tell a toddler what to do. We've photographed every kind of meltdown you can think of and still got the shot. Leave it with us.

When do we see our photos?

At your Gallery Reveal, same day or the following week, in the studio. Live more than an hour away? We can do it online over Google Meet. You'll choose your favourites and any extras right there.

What should we wear?

We'll send you a full styling guide once you've booked. Short version: comfy, coordinated not matching, and colours that sit nicely against white and green.

Can I use Afterpay or Zip?

Yes! We take Afterpay and Zip, and orders over $2,000 can also be spread over 6 to 24 months, interest free, through Payright.
